Now THAT is a Wicked fish! Don’t ever say you can’t catch a big brown in the cold weather… last November 16th on the South Branch of the Au Sable, a bright sunny day, but about 25 degrees. We’d been trying to catch this bugger for years and nicknamed him Walter, and my buddy finally caught him on a white streamer. Now he’s back in the river cruising!

Of course, I was fishing the same spot about 10 minutes before with a whit streamer, and didn’t get even a nibble… yep, that’s why they call it fishing!
