Fly fishing is a “gentlemen’s” sport… full of tradition and lore, comradery and fellowship, seasons and hatches, and tools and tricks of the trade.  There is no such thing as “mastering” the art and science of fly fishing – it is a lifelong journey, to be studied, experienced, and admired.  It isn’t just for the catch but also for the chase.

The Wicked Fly was hatched out of desire of all things fly fishing – a resource and guide to provide you with exactly what you need to pursue this obsession; from local fishing information (rivers, hatch charts, guide services, lodges, fly recipes/patterns), to products, to DNR regulations (licenses, fees, stream flows, resident species, and catch-release limits).
